VOLUNTEERS
The Friends of Vista House has thrived since 1982 by the generosity and commitment of it's Volunteers. VOLUNTEER DATES: 2008 Volunteer Training, McMenamins-Edgefield, Saturday, March 29; MHRR and Columbia Gorge INTERPRETIVE VOLUNTEERS Interpretive Volunteers answer questions and give directions at the information desk. You receive information at a yearly training session and a familiarization tour, receive complimentary trips on area attractions such as the sternwheeler and Mt. Hood Railroad. At the end of the season, you will be invited to join the other volunteers at an appreciation event! FOLK ART VOLUNTEERS When Vista House is open, volunteers will demonstrate all kinds of arts, crafts, skills of all sorts. CLEAN UP VOLUNTEERS We always need a hand with the building, the grounds, for events, etc. BROCHURE VOLUNTEERS Brochure volunteers bring in brochures and make sure the information desk is well-stocked.
